Over the past year, I have been afforded the opportunities to broaden my horizons. I started out at All Saints Camp and Conference Center as an Adventure/High Ropes Specialist, bringing my passion for outdoor adventure with me. Currently, I am an Environmental Science Instructor for the JOLT (Journey on Lake Texoma) program, which allows children to experience and learn about the outdoors.

Personally, I have learned a lot over the past year. My experiences in every aspect of my life including the adventure side of mountain biking, trail running, kayaking, ropes, and the like have made me who I am today. I’m very happy to be back with everyone.

I have worked at All Saints Camp and Conference Center for almost a year now acting as Office Manager, as well as organizing and marketing  individual Health and Wellness and Adventure Sports events on our beautiful 700 acre property.

I continue my public relations in the community through involvement with the Chambers of Commerce, my current enrollment in the Denison Advanced Leadership course, and my volunteer work with various Health and Wellness events.

On a personal level, I love being able to do the many activities that I so thoroughly enjoy with friends and fellow athletes.  I have increased my running significantly and began running trail races again this last fall.  I have continued my occasional mountain bike riding and my participation in the annual Women's Mountain Biking Clinic as well, and kayaking is still a great source of fun and fitness for me from spring to fall.  The fun I have participating in these events, as well as the camaraderie I have built with the adventure community is very fulfilling.

In the past year, I have remained in the cycling industry as a Bicycle Mechanic, which gave me the opportunity to travel coast to coast across the United States with Team JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research  Foundation) and act as their Mechanic as well as their Wilderness EMT on staff.  I went on to complete the Paramedicine program at College Station.

At All Saints Camp and Conference Center, I have enjoyed my time working as an Outdoor Program Specialist where I am able to do all the activities I love - mountain biking, paddling, and trail running - and the best part is I get to play right here where I work.

I continue to participate in endurance races all over the country.   My experiences leave me proud to be living this lifestyle and loving the fulfillment trail running and mountain biking bring to me.
