Wake up is around 7:30 a.m. with a call
for breakfast at 8:00. Following breakfast
campers will attend morning worship,
followed by an interactive Bible study led
by our deans for the week.
Around 12:00 lunch will be served with
a rest period following. The length of these
rest periods is determined by the age
of the camper. After rest time, campers then
attend elective workshops (including
Music, Journalism, Service Projects and
Liturgical Drama) and a rotation time of
Arts and Crafts, Program, Challenge Course,
Recreation, Water activities and Games.
Once again, around 6:00 p.m. there will
be a call for dinner. Evening activities
may consist of Evening program time, swimming, a
campfire or social time. Each camper’s
day will draw to a close with a snack followed
by songs and evening worship. In the
cabin, campers will get ready for bed and
share evening devotion.
Oh, we almost forgot. Camp Olympics will
be going on all during the campers stay
at camp.
The Diocese of Dallas’ Summer Camp
program provides each camper with the opportunity
to experience themselves and God through
fun, challenging and inspirational activities.
It is our hope that relationships with one
another and with God have been made and
or strengthened during each camper’s
week of camp.
